Mandatory Medisave contribution for self-employed salespersons

Under the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board's Self-Employed Scheme, real estate salespersons who are self-employed are required to make contributions to their Medisave accounts. This is to ensure that the self-employed save for their healthcare needs.

Since January 2012, CEA has made CPF Medisave contribution a registration requirement for new applicants who are self-employed. For salespersons already registered with CEA, in conjunction with CPF Board, CEA will make CPF Medisave contribution for self-employed a renewal requirement for the renewal exercise in end 2013. Salespersons would not be able to submit renewal application if they are in arrears of CPF Medisave contribution and did not make arrangements with CPF Board to make payment by September 2013.

Hi KPN.2013 CPD cycle end at 20th september 2013. You will need to fulfill minimun 2 core hour and 2 non core hour or 4 core hour by 20th september 2013. Failing to do so, you will not be allow to renew your 2014 CEA registration.Enquiry : call 68910048
