Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) 2012
 

Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) is a data protection legislation that spells out various rules governing the collection, use and disclosure of personal data. The rules apply to businesses operating in Singapore, including those in the real estate industry. The act contains two sets of requirements namely

  • • Personal Data Protection

  • • Do Not Call (DNC registry)

Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC), a Singapore Government Statutory body to administer and enforce the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA). Full implementation of PDPA 2012 will take effect from 2 July 2014.
